Print yourself invitations

I found these print your self invitation kits:

Costco Prints

Okay so for 6x7½ photo greeting cards
  • Many new designs including multi-image format.
  • Add your own personalized message.
  • Envelopes (6” x 8 1/8”) included – require only one postage stamp

$14.99 set of 50$5.99 additional sets of 25

HOWEVER, this have limited space to write, NOT enough for a wedding invitation so I have an idea .  .  .

What about including the PART wedding details in
the pictures?  Written on a chalkboard behind you, on your faces or holding a sign, etc.  It would have to
be big enough to read easily but SUPER creative and if you could get
enough of the info in the photo you could use a postcard (from Costco 69 cents ea.).

Also, did you know Costco has honeymoon packages?

This site has a bunch of people selling their old decorations, do you think I could find stuff cheaper on here than actually buyin it from a website??

Also this website has a lot of wedding help on it. This is a free enagement session in Seattle and there are probably others I just didn't look.

Marie, I just looked into renting a tent and it is oooooober ooooober expensive.  Maybe Melissa can check w/ her dad to see how big his brothers tent is.  Are there any pretty parks near Marysville with wedding venues?   Kathy had these light decorations at the church which looked amazing.  Her wedding planner owned them - Shar Winterholler (Mom- Nick's mom), we could try giving her a call and see if she'd rent them out.

For the record, I still think giving the bridesmaid's a specific color and letting them pick out their own dress is the most flattering and nicest way to go BUT if you really want them to match exactly check out these sites (I've been hunting for a fancy shmansy graduation dress):

Okay, i'm not a fan of the blue tops and white skirts but click to enlarge and check out the one's w/ the white tops and colored skirts!
orange bouquet
These beauties are available at Anthropologie!  I'm too lazy to make a link but its www.anthropologie.com
Check out this photographer's engagement pics!  Wow!!!!!  Going to amazing places to shoot them seems like a great idea.

Bridesmaid Dresses

These are just some dresses I found online. I hear that it is hard to find bridesmaid dresses so tell me what you think. keep in mind we have to make them modest. I think I like the second one the best...

Mormon Weddings Galore!!!

This Seattle based photographer has shot a ton of mormon weddings, but it won't let me download any other pictures to show you so here is her website.  Check out the one with the hanging parasols and also the one w/ pink and orange.

Mormon Wedding #3

Okay, maybe if I did it again, I would wear this girl's dress.  Love the details of this one too.  Click here for the pics!

Alki Bathhouse

Have you guys seen the bathhouse on Alki Beach?  It's right on the beach, it costs $250 to rent out.  Click here for details

The food at THIS wedding looked so lip smacking good!!!

Memories

More than anything i'm realizing that a wedding is not about how much people are impressed or remember yours.  It's the little things that YOU will remember.  A sure way to do is this to have things at your wedding that you already love or things that remind you of why you love your sweetheart.  Another idea is to incorporate some item that has been handed down to you (maybe something used at your parents' wedding) or that you will hand down to your daughter.  Richelle and Marie, I just want to tell you how much I love love love you guys, when I think of choice spirits, I think of yours.  I hope that your reception is special and memorable to you but most of all I hope you remember how you feel in the temple when you are sealed for time and all eternity with the one you love most.  Its truly celestial.

I came across this idea that incorporated this girl's growing up and her maternal influences:

"Our mothers and grandmothers each baked a cake that we grew up eating to collectively make our "wedding cake" - we had my mom's pistachio cake, his mom's rum cake, my grandmother's lemon cake, and his Nani's german chocolate cake. We back-filled with sheet cake from Mim's Bakery in Chico. "

Check out this site for inexpensive cake stands and cloches.
Simple but on sale for $350 used compared to $1000.  Click here

Demitrios dress

If I could do it all again, I would do it with this dress!!!  You'd still need to add a little lining underneath the sleeve but its for sale used for $400.  Click here to see other pics.
Not such a fan of the dress (it laces up in back) but I'm liking the jacket, click here for more pics.

Ooh-la-la

I am completley obsessed with these hairpieces at Twigs & Honey, I pretty much love all of them and if you got all crafty you could make it yourself, check it out.
