I am IN LOVE with this girl's wedding cakes.  She bought the cake stands at thrift stores and other places.  I swear someday I will do this for a fancy schmancy party- you are both invited.

Photo op

Oh wouldn't be fun to fill up the space of the venue and also be great to send out as thank-you postcards if you hung up vintage fabric and had kindof a photobooth or someone could take the pictures when people arrived.  It would be super cute to have some props like an empty picture frame, silly glasses, hats, umbrella or a little chalkboard they could write something on.  You could hang some fabric on the wall or kindof string it up laundry line style.  Here are some examples:

HOWEVER, this have limited space to write, NOT enough for a wedding invitation so I have an idea .  .  . 

What about including the PART wedding details in 

the pictures?  Written on a chalkboard behind you, on your faces or holding a sign, etc.  It would have to

 be big enough to read easily but SUPER creative and if you could get

 enough of the info in the photo you could use a postcard (from Costco 69 cents ea.).

Costco has these invitations on sale (40% off) for $59.39 per 100 (includes envelopes ) that is really cute click HERE but the sale only lasts until April 21st so you'd have to order them by them which is doable!!!  You'd have to add on extra money for pictures, Costco's pics are 13 cents.

Also, did you know Costco has honeymoon packages?

Marie, I just looked into renting a tent and it is oooooober ooooober expensive.  Maybe Melissa can check w/ her dad to see how big his brothers tent is.  Are there any pretty parks near Marysville with wedding venues?   Kathy had these light decorations at the church which looked amazing.  Her wedding planner owned them - Shar Winterholler (Mom- Nick's mom), we could try giving her a call and see if she'd rent them out.

For the record, I still think giving the bridesmaid's a specific color and letting them pick out their own dress is the most flattering and nicest way to go BUT if you really want them to match exactly check out these sites (I've been hunting for a fancy shmansy graduation dress):
